Statement

The Permanent Mission of Venezuela to the Organization of American States, due to a statement of the Colombian Government produced in Washington DC, Empire's Capital City, calls the attention on the curious nature of the document, showing emotive and fantastic expressions in response to a President Hugo Chavez's Peace Message to the big majority of the Citizens of our brother Republic: that is, to the Colombians of good, attached to us by history and by commitments of solidarity with democracy, with social justice and with sovereignty in our South American Region.

 

The Permanent Mission of Venezuela to the Organization of American States shares the worry of South American nations before the threat of foreign intervention and use of our lands to develop expansionist military projects aimed at generating short term destabilization, as well as at satisfying imperialist strategic middle and long term interests.
